The RFQ document should include:

  • References and revisions of the assemblies requiring quotes.
  • Annual quantities and batches. More than one batch size and/or different volumes can be included in the same quote.
  • It is important to specify whether you require a firm fixed price (FFP) or an estimate (ROM).
  • What is the required validity period for the proposal?
  • Is it a competitive opportunity or an exclusive offer?
  • What is the name of the programme or product in which the requested hardware is used?
  • Are there existing price agreements for any of the components?
  • When will MADES deliver the proposal?
  • Are there any current sources that could be considered during implementation or can you offer a reduction in non-recurring costs (NRE)?
  • Any other restriction on suppliers or constraint on the procurement of materials should be specified. MADES complies with ITAR in its management of all opportunities to which these regulations apply.
