The RFQ document should include:
- References and revisions of the assemblies requiring quotes.
- Annual quantities and batches. More than one batch size and/or different volumes can be included in the same quote.
- It is important to specify whether you require a firm fixed price (FFP) or an estimate (ROM).
- What is the required validity period for the proposal?
- Is it a competitive opportunity or an exclusive offer?
- What is the name of the programme or product in which the requested hardware is used?
- Are there existing price agreements for any of the components?
- When will MADES deliver the proposal?
- Are there any current sources that could be considered during implementation or can you offer a reduction in non-recurring costs (NRE)?
- Any other restriction on suppliers or constraint on the procurement of materials should be specified. MADES complies with ITAR in its management of all opportunities to which these regulations apply.
