KONGSBERG (Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace), Norway’s premier supplier of defence products and systems, has awarded a contract to Spanish company MADES (Málaga Aerospace, Defence and Electronics Systems) for the production of mission-critical missile subsystems for the NSM (Naval Strike Missile). The agreement lays the foundation for a long-term collaboration between two recognized companies, securing work and business to Spanish industry. While the initial contract is designed to address Spanish industrial requirements, this opens an opportunity for cooperation on the global demand for high-reliability missile defense solutions such as the NSM missile, selected by more than 14 countries around the world.
